"Yorick - Keep Moving Forward" is an Indonesian film adapted from the novel Yorick by Kirana Kejora, which tells the life journey of Daniel Yorick. The film portrays the struggles of a child raised by his grandmother after losing parental love and how he overcomes various life challenges to achieve success. This story serves as an inspiration about perseverance and an unyielding spirit in facing life's storms.
The film's production involved an 18-day shooting process in St. Petersburg, Russia, to align the setting with the true story of Daniel Yorick, who once worked in the city. Director Pepi Chappy chose this location because many significant moments in Yorick’s real life took place there. The production team was assisted by a local production house in Russia to provide the necessary filming equipment and permits.
